Summary, etc. Die Disparitätsmessung hat in den letzten Jahrzehnten als Forschungsgegenstand und Anwendungsgebiet der Statistik eine ständig wachsende Bedeutung erlangt. Die bekanntesten Instrumente der klassischen Disparitätsmessung sind die Lorenzkurve und der Gini-Koeffizient. In der Arbeit wird aufgezeigt, in welch vielfältiger Weise diese Konzepte dargestellt, interpretiert und weiterentwickelt werden können. Dabei wird insbesondere deutlich, daß die Konzepte weit über ihre ursprünglichen Anwendungsbereiche hinaus in neuen Forschungsgebieten überaus erfolgversprechend eingesetzt werden können. Wesentliche Bestandteile der umfangreichen klassischen und neuen Fachliteratur werden strukturiert dargestellt und ausgewertet. Eine Erörterung der Lorenz-Dominanzrelation und deren Bezüge zu anderen Ordnungsrelationen schließt die Arbeit ab.
