| Summary, etc. | Discussões sobre drogas e Aids ocupam, a todo momento, noticiários e mentes. Porém, a maneira como vêm sendo encaminhadas é pouco democrática e muito superficial, com tendência a manter as generalizações feitas até então. Como tratar os usuários de drogas legais e ilegais? Simplesmente reprimindo-os? Como proteger-se do HIV, já que a noção de grupos de risco já não se sustenta mais? Para aprofundar as reflexões sobre estes temas, a maioria dos autores, assim como a organizadora, desenvolveu o curso de extensão universitária Drogas e Aids: questões de direitos humanos, iniciado em 1996 na Uerj. Grande parte dos artigos trata de temas discutidos em sala de aula ao longo dos três primeiros anos do curso. Grande contribuição para quem pensa - e age - na área, no mundo. |
