| Summary, etc. | Vom Staat ausgelöste Umverteilungen zwischen Generationen sind ein vieldiskutiertes Problem in der Ökonomik. Ein Schwerpunkt des Interesses richtet sich auf die durch staatliche Verschuldungspolitik verursachte Lastverschiebung in die Zukunft. Welche Belastungen zukünftiger Generationen durch andere staatliche Politikmaßnahmen oder als Folge der demographischen Entwicklung entstehen können, blieb bislang vor allem empirisch weitgehend im Verborgenen. Dieser Band greift die Fragestellung auf und erläutert auf Grundlage der Modelle überlappender Generationen Umverteilungswirkungen und Möglichkeiten zu ihrer quantitativen Erfassung. Vorgestellt wird das in einigen Ländern bereits gebräuchliche Generational Accounting, und erstmals erfolgt eine umfassende Anwendung dieses Konzeptes auf den staatlichen Sektor der Bundesrepublik Deutschland. |
